To be honest i am not sure it is even working properly because no one showed an interest in using it in their skin. If you want to use it and you find any issues i can fix it up for you.

Instead of a screen ful of genres it displas them a list of buttons. This was implimented as i was going to add support for the buttons to be images. If you have an image with the same name as the genre it loaded that. It was a way to make the genres look more attractive... Trouble is if you have 100's of genres you need a lot of images.

You have to use the skin tool to create a skin using the genre bar.

It's availble to the skin creators via the skintool. If they make a skin using it then it will be what you see when you select genres. You can adapt a skin to use it using the skintool if you wish too.
