Title: Yacht Club Juke Finally Almost Done
Post by: WYC on August 19, 2010, 06:36:32 AM
Hi Guys, Thanks for all your help, answering questions, fixing bugs and your suggestions. This is what you have helped create,

The front is nicely covered in the speaker fabric, with a converted 14 inch screen, ipod dock up top and av transmitter. Without the cover you can see the center speaker (Top) 5 disk sony dvd player, kenwood surround amp running around 750 800 watts rms, converted pc (the original 15 yr old insides couldnt cope with video) and the faithful sub down below.

floor speakers are in the left and right sides, with surrounds sitting up top nxt to hte centre. they slip out in under 30 secs for full surround sound watching movies.

Av transmitter takes video from juke ipod nd dvd back to the wall, then we pick between the old tv or the 6x4m big screen. audio also heads back to the house system. means there is only one plug tying the whole machine to the wall and powerpoints are easyer to find that rca wall plates.

In the back up top is hte video switch, then JTS UHF twin mic receiver, and hte 6ch stereo desk. Makes choosing what ur listening to so much easyer, and boots those inputs lyk mp3 players that are too quite for a good party.

Tidy up the wiring, sort out the video switch, and then move onto building the music library. sitting around 3000 atm. really looking at moving into an almost complete video library, but they are hard to find. No one wants to sell them due to some red tape here or there. Music protection in AUS is a joke its gone that far, costing them a fortune. meh work it out one day.

THanks again guys,

Cheers,
Abe
