Title: how do you reset the top 20?
Post by: Jeff22 on May 09, 2007, 10:46:37 PM
I was wondering how you reset the top 20 list of most played songs?  Is there an easy way to do it or do i have to uninstall and then reinstall the program again.

Just open the top20.dat file in the FreeboxV2 folder and delete all of the entries in there.

sweet, it was actually giving me a runtime error 0 message if i opened it and deleted the entries but if i just delete the whole file it works great.  Thanks that makes it a lot easier i wanted to delete the entries because i was doing some testing and had the top 20 all screwed up with file not found messages

yeah that's what it does. if you delete the top20.dat file it will put it back once you play a song.  it's a pretty smooth way to clear the top 20 if you ever want to.

thanks for the tip.

You can do the history the same way too.
