LOL....
Yes, I think converting the genuine Wurlitzer to E-Touch can be tricky but the cabinate from China already comes with a touchscreen build into the cabinate so that will be a easy one.
I'll post some pictures when they arrive.
how much did cab cost from china if you dont mind me asking
or u can pm me if you dont want to display it on here

Hi my Friend can you send me the link when i can find this wurlitzer 1015 cabimnet from china?
Thanks, i my project i am gonna will do with my own carpenter, with cedar wood, an paint polietilene paint, like car paint in white color.
A cabinate with a 15" touchscreen is about $1500. This is a cabinate about 1 meter high and only comes with the monitor and infrared touchpanel.
I haven't got a final price yet 'cause I requested a bigger cabinate 1,2 to 1,5 meter high with a 19" widescreen monitor and IR touch panel.
As soon as I have a final price I'll let you know.
I can't provide you with a link to a website yet because I have a agent in China sourcing all my stuff and he didn't provide me with a link to a site.
Hello,
I'm drooling over the plastic arches ;D
Looks like alot of top quality parts for your project.
Please keep the pics coming!

First Help Felas!
Hi i need help i dont know how wire this powered jbl marine subwoofer, because it has too wires and i confused.
can you help me?
I did wire 4 speaker and 1 ampl 4 channels , but i need wire 1 subwoofer and 1 amp 2 channels
Thanks
(http://www.cajacontrol.net/jblwire.jpg)
Hello Barbosaa!
Can I ask how you are going you power these (2) amps? I believe your going to need 12vdc @ 10 amps each? :o
Almost all CD audio is 2-channel, and then share a sub-woofer or two. Unless your watching DVD movies then it's common to have 4 or more independent channels.
Is the woofer a dual-coil? If it is, you can run the Left & Right output from amp #2 to the single subwooofer.
Thanks!

I had been on about hooking up to one of those CD Drives for ages as a legal way of putting a touchscreen jukebox into bars in the US. If it has a CD backend it is much easier to get licenced compared to mp3's. Well done on interfacing with it, something i never got around to doing with E-touch as there was not the interest.
Thanks Barcrest for your reply, you right if you have use one mp3 jukebox in a public place or shop , you should have the original cds in back for a legal licensing.
I am gonna use my jukebox for my home fun, howewer i like to place in carrousel my original cds because its most magical see when the carrousel go in circles and select the correct cd and play it, when you use one mp3 files thats no magical , because its another simple way to play music, in wathever mechanism mp3, radio , player , ect.
I am gonna add thousand of mp3 music un one HDD internal and play it with Windows Media Center too.
Thanks

barbosaa, looking at the picture of the SUB, it appears to be POWERED so, what you need to do is this:
1. Connect L + R signal from soundcard to WHITE & RED (L + R in) on rear of SUB
2. Connect the 4 channel amp to GREEN + GREY (L + R out) from rear of SUB to AMP
3. Connect the 4 Speakers to each AMP output
* if the amp is only a 2 channel amp, use both amps and get a phono splitter to split the L + R output from the SUB into two channels from the SUB's L + R outputs..
4. find a suitable power source for BOTH the SUB and the AMP(s)...as previously stated, it will probably need 10AMPS at 12volts, which is slightly more than your average PC PSU can output i think...
5. You MAY also need to put 12v onto the 'head unit power on trigger', depending on the sub, it may power constantly without it...
Hopefully, I have read the schematic correctly, but I may be wrong...
For more help with this SUB, here's a link to a manual for it...

I too was excited when I looked at that media carousel as I've been looking for something like this for a long time for similiar reasons as Barcrest.
I always thought it would be the ultimate to have a commercial jukebox that plays CD's, VCD's, DVD's & Digital files.
Licensing Freedom! Brilliant!

So did you write your own interface to the CD player? Apparently you can hook up 170 of these players. That would give you a huge selection if you had the space. I couldn't find an SDK for it and I see it's not exactly cheap at $300.
Ive got a funny feeling that this is going to be the best project on the forum, there are some bloody good home made jukes on the forum but i think this is going to be the best, You need to put etouch on it i would have it as a video juke but what you've done so far looks very impressive.

Yes Barcrest i did my own software infercace , because dont exist before, my software can select artist by albun art, then see play list , when i select whatever artist art, and press Go.. the carrousel move in circles, find the correct CD musical, and place it into the DVD drive and play the cd audio, then i can stop, play , pause, add to list ect the songs. when the music stop alone and end cd.. the carrousel put the cd musical in the correct slot in carrousel,
I write api in visual basic and VbA
So do you have to manually enter the CD information into a database or do you look it up on the web from the CD ID number using CDDB?

I mean when setting up your software. How did you get the CD Information in and how easy is it to add/remove CD's from the software.

Hello !
Just a suggestion:
Would you feel more comfortable with having a second power supply dedicated just for the amps.
WOW, Up to *70A* You'll have to increase the wire size (lower gauge) to pull the amperage through a single physical wire.
Here's a couple formulas that may help:
Amps = Watts / Volts
Amps x Volts = Watts
Even thourgh the NZXT Hale90 PSU says +12vdc @ 70A, that's at absolute max output before the fire. :o
To make the PSU last a long time. I'd calculate a comfortable 80% PSU output. now is only 12+vdc @ 56A
56A x 12vdc = 672 watts
The total RMS output of all amps & subwoofer combined shouldn't exceed 672 watts or the power supply will have a short lifespan.
Disclaimer: I have been wrong before.. :-\
Keep the pics coming...
Can't wait to see the cabinet... ;D

There also simular drives made by sony that I looked at a while ago. The advantage of using a CD drive for the music is it is a lot easier (Especially in the U.S.) and also a lot cheaper to licence for commercial usage. I never did get hold of a drive to impliment the code into E-Touch though as there didn't seem any interest. I found this a little odd really as you could legally have these running in bars all across the states and 300 albums is a pretty decent selection. You can also daisy chain them to have even more albums should you want a lager library.

Any chance that you release or share it with us?
Can you give us more details how you made the lighting under the Wurlitzer plastic reproduction parts?
You said in the beginning that you want to use RGB LED modules and strip with a IR controller.
How did you mount them?
Many thanks for the photos and videos.

Hi Adolfo,
Thank you for your answer.
If I understand you right, you only use those modules with 3 RGB LED an this IR Music controller?
You don't use a LED strip like on this video from you : LED Sound Sensitive Controller (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vcr6hJeV1WY&feature=related) ?
Because such a LED strip would be difficult or even impossible to bent to follow the curves of the plastic parts.

Incredible! How did you make the cabinet? Did you make the design plans scratch? This is sooo awesome!
Just went thru this thread again from start to finish. That Jukebox is amazing.
What an amazing project! :o
I have three questions if I may:
- where did you get the metallic buttons on the control panel? (/what are they called?)
- did you use 1 Music IR Controller or 2?
- How did you wire the power button for the LEDs - there doesn't appear to be the option on either the Music IR Controller or the LED power supply but there is a 'lights' button on the control panel?
Hi Late, thanks for your Cuestion:
metalic Button bought from PERFORMACE-PC.COM
I used just One Music IR comtroller
The wire of power I connect from a PC POWER SUPPLY : http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_910&products_id=28899
Thanks
I have been looking at the construction pics of your jukebox for a while now. I am building one myself and they have been a great help. I only have the cabinet made so far. I am getting ready to start on the door. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions that I can't figure out. Are the bubble tubes on the inside of the pilasters? why doesn't the center rib on the top arch not have light going through it? is it blocked by something? and what is the width of the pileaster from the front of the door to the rear of the door? I tried to scale a picture from the internet and came up with around 11.4 cm.
Hi, Thanks for write, the bubble tubes work by warm temperature, the complete kit sales by www.victoryglass.com (http://www.victoryglass.com), i use super bright let light color changin, the center has light , maybe in photos or video cant see it. i have a plane in a paper i can send you a copy and exactly sizes , by correo just provideme adress to calculate ship and price
Thank place picture of your work
Thanks for the reply. It is very nice of you to offer to ship the plans to me, but a picture of the plans is all I would need. I will take some pictures this weekend and post them. I will try to make everything. I am going to make a casting and vacuum form the pilasters with acrylic.
Ok
