Title: Laptop Drive in a PC
Post by: kizer on March 08, 2007, 11:26:00 PM
Im thinking of using a Laptop CDrom along with a PC because its slim and has that center section the CD snaps into keeping the CD from falling out of the tray.

Has anybody done it before? My reasoning is Im wanting a slimmer CDrom because Im going to setup my Jukebox so I can rip CD's and burn CD's, but I dont want to have to crack open the case when I want to do it. Surface mount the CDrom on the side and it will have less surface area on the side of the Jukebox.

Ive seen adapters on Ebay, but I dont know how well they work.
