Title: alphabet selector
Post by: mfacer on May 31, 2008, 07:10:20 PM
I'm getting the hang of the skinning tool now (yay!) ... just one thing...

how does the slider work which selects the albums by letter?

I want to put the alphabet across the top of the album listings, [A] [C] etc so the user just clicks that letter. Is it some sort of image map which I could recreate?

Thanks!  ;D

i see there's a couple of files called jumptoletter and jumptoletter2 - i assume they are co-ordinates for the slider? I'm trying to work out what to change as I can probably guess where things should go... but it'd be great if someone's already had a go at this??

Thanks, Matt.

You don't have to have the slider you can have buttons with letters on instead (Which i assume you are trying to do). In the skintool file window change the nav type and you will see letter buttons appear that you can skin. "Buttons On Album Screen" is what you want to select.
