What runs Etouch better, XP or 7?

Would this be an OK system to run it on?

PC Is fine, I would run windows 7 64bit personally, only thing I would change on that spec is the hard drive to an SSD unless that's what you already have.

I have run win7 on similar specs, i alway do the tweeks to make?t run faster and have no problems, i always liked the way windows 7 can be shelled, and with a nice bootscreen you can almost make it a legitimate jukebox look alike.

I've only ever run it on XP as I usually use older machines.

With your spec I would ensure to use 4gb of ram. It's cheap and makes a massive improvement. 4gb should be the minimum for Windows 7

Yes this is true, if you are going 64bit then you wan't 4gb of ram. Like I said the SSD makes the boot up times really quick especially in a standalone juke. The price is such now that I don't see any reason to not have one for the boot drive and O/S.

I think win7 would be a better choice
