Title: How to get the Options Menu Button back.
Post by: coffee on August 06, 2010, 07:23:44 AM
If you have lost your Options Menu button for some reason, try the following before you reinstall E-touch.

Go to the folder were E-touch are located (C:\Program Files\E-Touch Jukebox 6 by default)
In the root directory of E-Touch, locate and open the "freebox.ini" file in Notepad.
Scroll down to were it says "Show Menu Buttons".
The 5th digit from the top will be a "0" (zero) if your options button doesn't show, you need to change this to "1" (one).
Go to file and select "Save".
Now close Notepad and startup E-Touch.
Your Options Menu button should now be visible again.

Alternatively hook up a keyboard and pressing ESC will bring up the menu, you can then turn the button back on from the button settings section in the usual way.

That happened to me once. Turned out I had mapped another key to the options menu. If that happens you could check your keyboard.dat file.
