History Question

Can someone give me a quick tutorial how the history function works and how to transfer played music and history info from one release to another. Cannot seem to figure it out.  Thanks.

I thought you just copy the old history.dat file to the new install?

It is just the history files, there is one for random play and a user one. If you are using my E-Touch then there are also the users you will need to copy over.
