Video Album covers

I am running E-Touch 7.0.6.

I installed the K-lite codecs.

I have cover art files in each folder for the video artists.

When I select video from the main screen, I see all the Video album spaces, and they have the Artist names above them, but when you look at the Video album cover, it just says Updating..

The video does not play , only the audio of that video?

Help please.

You are missing a codec somewhere which is why you don't see the video but the covers should show if you have them named correctly. Any reason you are not running the latest version?

Reinstalled the Codecs and checked off almost everything or did select ALL on some screens.

I see the Album Covers on the Video Album main screen.

When I select a Video album I get the list of video tracks and select a track.

The video starts and If I click on the thumbnail in the top right, the vidio play correctly!

My only issue now is that on the screen that says "Now Playing"

The square on the left says UPDATing and no album image.

Any ideas?

Check your option settings.  Are you using both a cover.jpg and a coversmall.jpg?  Make sure your option settings correctly reflect whether you are using a single or two different sized cover art images.

I am using both a cover.jpg and a coversmall.jpg.

Display 1st image found is not checked.

Large Cover  =     cover.jpg


Small cover image =   coversmall.jpg

Back cover image =   Back.jpg

(I do not have a Back Cover Image file in the Artist directory.  Is that a problem?)

Video options =  Nothing is checked.

Can you suggest anything I need or need to change??


On the Select a Song Page the Lo9wer left corner of the screen has a Box where the album cover should be that says

UPDATING
           updating

Updating? That is very odd it shouldn't be saying that and it is not anything I have added. How big are these video covers? What happens if you enable use first cover found?

Finally everything is working correctly.

I made so many changes and ran config SOOOO many times, changing options, that I cannot say what corrected the problems.

I also deleted all the RECORDS files from the software and re generated them.

I know when you are running Config, there is a Box in the center of the screen that says that config is Updating the records.   

I think that is where the UPDATING got propagated from,

Because when ever I used to run config, all the  album covers would flash by on the screen as config was working.

Now when Config runs, I do not ever see the album covers scrolling through..?? 

But anyhow all the songs and videos are correct now and all is well, almost.
