Error on reinstall

I've determined that the new Beta doesn't work without me having to reformat many of my MP3's so I'm trying to use the previous release.  I tried doing a clean install, it has me run config, then when I open the program it is silver (not blue), and I can't change the skin.  Also even though the config built the database, none of the albums are showing.

Has anyone seen this before?

Delete E-touch again using add and remove programs and then delete Etouch from your program files,
