I am trying to put videos onto my system, they are in the .avi format and codex ok.
When I use the config to generate a library it is saying that I have not got any files.
Am I missing something here.
Do you create a video library the same way as you create a music library.
I need help on this one.

Thanks

At the bottom of the config screen. After you have selected video library is avi in the list to look for? I had to add it then shut down config and restart to have it find the files.

Look in the bottom right corner of the config where is has Search Mask:

If .avi isnt already there, then add it like this:

;*.avi

Close the config, then re-open it so you know it was saved and will be there next time you need to run the config.

Make sure they play with WMP and if not then use Klite Codecs:

Download from one of the mirrors. Make sure you dont download from one of the advertisements as they are a little mis-leading.

Hi,
In the search mask I have the following:-

*.mp3;*.mpg;*.mpeg;*.avi;*.wmv;*.wma;*.wav;*.aac;*.m4a;*.mkv;*.flv

All videos are playing fine in WMP

I have a mix of mpg and avi
Just can not get the config to pick them up

You have to tag them first with the non-mp3 tagger provided in E-Touch in order to be recognized

Hi,

Did you find a fix for this as I'm having the same problem ....

I've had Mp3's working nicely for months ......

I've Added a few Mpg's and used the tool to tag them and keep he mpg & tag file together in the same folder ...

I have Mp3's in folder called Music and mpg's in a folder called Music Videos

In Config I flick the switch at the top to Video, then select the Music Video folder
but it finds no videos?

I've added .mpg & .mpeg  just in case .....

I'm on Windows 7 if that could be an issue  :-\

Good at finding bugs, not so good at fixing them ;-)

Did you use the Non-MP3 tagger to make a tag for each mpeg or mpg?

If not, you need to make one then re-run the config.
