Various Artists

Hey Guys

When i load all my folders through the Config
Heaps come up as Various Artists, even though only one artist is in that directory, but song from multiple albums.
Is there a trick to getting them to just display Artists name only and no album name or
do i have to modify every tag to have same album name

if not, then I believe your asking about compilation albums such as the NOW series?
Same album but different artist?
If so, then you need to edit your ID3 tag. A good MP3 tag editor is MP3TAG

I found what it was, i had a space after the artist name in the tag and program must recognise that as different, once i removed the space and all MP3s had the exact same name it stopped coming up in the config as various and now comes up with the artist as it should.
