Title: Using as a replacement for SKJ
Post by: RichStevenson on October 21, 2007, 09:45:43 PM
I'm looking for another software package to replace the SK Jukebox that I'm currently running. My juke is completely controlled with buttons so I'm not using a touch screen. Is Freebox a good replacement? What I mean is can I configure it to work like SKJ? Scroll albums via the cursor keys, enter album number then track number and that selection plays immediately?

Thanks

You can use simular inputs to SK but i have never really had chance to test it all 100%. If you download the V3 demo and give it a try and post me feedback on what doesn't work i should be able to fix it up for you.

I did like that feature in SKJ.  That was back when I had 500 albums.  Now that's my collection has grown, and changing all the time, I'm not so sure it would be helpful.

That feature is in the software, but as jack says if you have more than a couple of hundred albums it's too cumbersome.
