Title: radio and credits
Post by: _Tommie_ on September 23, 2011, 10:43:39 AM
wanted to have the radio function working in our commercial used juke.
so, credit mode is enabled.
but cant 'add to q' or 'play now',
fidled with the settings for online play credits and such, to no avail.  :-*
there is no 'radio' setting for credits

do have bit of a strange setup. have set devider to 10 on etouch
coin 1 gives 4 (10 cent)
coin 2 gives 8 (20 cent)
coin 3 gives 20 (50 cent)
coin 4 gives 50 (1 EUR)
coin 5 gives 110 (2 EUR)

Radio isn't supported for credits as if you pick a radio track it never ends.

sometimes, we want to hear radio programs, esp. during early hours,

Well, this is wat i wanted to do:
We have a 'skip' button behind the bar, so going to the next song, or leave radio is to be our decission
the radio button could be pasword protected, and the selections there need no credit to play.

that way we could listen to radio, without having the need of an other device than the juke = multi multi multifunctional  ;D

just a wish,

what you want to do then is use the radio for random play. That way it will be the radio when no song are playing, have you tried this?

Thats not a bad idea, but, I wanted to have full control.

Now the juke plays 1 topsong  for every 10 songs; is very good, but sometimes we just want to hear
the news, and a bit of talking in the slow hours... in short, radio  :-\

Hmmm well we could maybe come up with something.... Have to think of the best way of doing it. Maybe add a key that will switch to a preselected radio station but the juke will treat it as random player.
