Post by: fordman on March 03, 2009, 07:40:10 PM
Any thoughts or solutions to this error?

Run-Time Error '383':
'Test' Property Is Read Only

Program quits. I also have unistalled and then re-installed. Same Error

Gateway PIII 1ghz
256mb ram
WinXP SP3

I do need more ram, but I dont think this is a ram issue.

Any thoughts?

Not doing anything else while Freebox is loading.

UPdate: I uninstalled Freebox, Deleted the directory then restarted the computer to clear the ram.

I then re-installed Freebox and all seems to work now.

I am getting more ram though as I only have 256mb of ram in this machine.

Thanks for the thoughts and hopefully this bug is squashed!

if it is a bug, it should probably be looked at, although im glad your up again

as for ram, im using XP performance edition and it uses about 100MB. I have ~5k albums loaded in freebox and it uses about 150MB

sooo....yeah your ram isnt enough

Ideally 1Gb of ram is the best for XP but you will see a significant speed increase upping it to 512mb.
