Search YouTube for Videos

Would it be possible to add Video Search to the current Search screen, similar to Audio? I saw this API for YouTube http://code.google.com/apis/youtube/overview.html Not sure it could be done but would be pretty cool.

That would be cool, and it would save on disk space, tagging, trimming and sometime converting, The only bad thing i can think of is if it is a vevo video you will sometimes get a advertising video before the music vid plays.  But youtube search is a brill idea

or you could use something like youtube downloader and save it to a temp location and then delete it after use. that would take out any adverts. the only problem would be filtering the searches you could have alsort on there.

They don't play in media player so it wouldn't be straight forward.

in the youtube downloader appliction you can also convert into a pre-defined format al in one go. dont know if this helps

There are also many commercial pitfalls in re-purposing Youtube videos in anything other than a browser
