I cant get the default fanart to work in V7. I have named it default.jpg and Default_fanart.jpg and neither works.
Anyone else have this problem, or know how to resolve this one.
Cheers
Ur fanart needs to be named with the same name as the artist folder it is going in, eg if your artist folder is called Take That then your fanart needs to be called Take That.jpg

1) In V7 is default_fanart.jpg saved in Fanart folder.
(hint :if E-Touch finds default_fanart.jpg in current skin used(IMAGES folder), will use it from there)
2.- Go to options and enable Fanart in three different views(if you prefer that) and also choose
level of transparency, mine is at 35 to 45 depending of the pic used.
(MADNESS :I THINK WHAT YOU ARE MISSING IS THIS SECOND POINT to make fanart work).
take what urrrrrrrrgh :o

nope im a old soul boy
Where is the option to enable fanart in v7. I must be an idiot because I can't find it...
Options ---> Button Settings ;)
Got it. Thanks.
I can't get it to work at all. Is this possibly because I installed in a non-default directory. I have default_fanart.jpg in the fanart directory as well as individual band fanart. It is enabled in the buttons options, but does not display.
I will try installing in the default directory.
Check this, just in case.
Sometimes I have a .jpg (or .jpeg) and seems is not valid for eTouch. Don't ask me why cause I don't know.
What I do is open the picture and save it specifying .JPG (e.i. default_fanart.JPG ).
I ran into the .jpeg vs. jpg issue when I was working on album art. They are all Artistname.jpg (Aerosmith.jpg) in the Fanart folder. This naming convention is correct, right?
In reading this thread is there a separate transparency control for fanart? The one I saw one but that seems to make the entire app transparent.
