Title: Error occured: 75
Post by: coffee on August 23, 2009, 03:50:08 PM
Hi

I get a few errors and I don't know what is causing them:

Error occured: 75
Description: Path/File access error: 'C:\JukeMusic\Def Leppard\Slang\\*.jpg'
Module: Form1
Function: show_featured_album

Each time a track starts I get this error, but each time with a different Path/File  *.jpg
I thought it might be the music files, but I've tested it with older versions of freebox and it's fine.
I'm use version 5.0.16 with XP.

Thanks
coffee

is that the exact error? I assume you are using first cover found and not a specific filename.

Hi Barry

Yes that is exact and I use first image found. It also says "Form1" and not forum. I checked up on some previous posts.
I still have to install freebox on a different computer to see if it is not my OS causing this error.

Could be that you have a file named with .jpg extension but it's not actually a jpg. Try opening it in paint or irfanview and saving it out as a JPG. I had a couple like that but i have fixed them all now.

No it was a bug if you were using first cover found. I believe i have fixed it now, grab the next beta and let me know.

I'm having the same error but i have no JPG. (fresh install)

Path/File Access error
Module: Form2

Happens when it goes track to track.  I'm also getting DB errors when trying to remove an album from the database.

Let me know if you need any more info,

Thanks

Hi

What version are you using? Version 5.0.17 is fine but 5.0.16 had this error and I haven't tried 5.0.18 yet.

Sorry

I'm running version 5.0.18 meaning it was indeed 5.0.17 that had the error. Just try 5.0.18 and it will be fine.

That error is to do with it trying to create the tumbnail graphic, are you running vista?

I am now getting this error on my new Windows 7 laptop. I have V5.22 freshly installed. I have administative privliges. The exact error is:

Error occured:75
Description: Path/File access error
Module: Form2
Function: form_image

all my .jpg's seem to be ok. I dont know if this is a Windows 7 thing or not???

any thoughts?

I think I was getting a similar error, you will need to right click the shortcut and choose Run as Administartor or you can right click the shortcut and goto the properties and set it to always run as administrator. Just having Administrative Privliges on the PC isn't enough. Hope that helps.

That did the trick!

Another reason why I dont like Vista or Win 7! admin privliges needed just to use notepad!

Thanks Eist1!

Smart Cookie thanks alot :beer

In Vista it comes up with that Allow or Cancel when you go to open it.
Can you place that program on a list of safe software to use so it stops asking me everytime i turn it on

You can disable UAC in Windows 7 (won't get those pop ups anymore) or right click the shortcut, go to the Compatibility Tab then check the "Run this program as an administrator" box and you won't have to choose it everyime.
