I have been a PC Jukebox user for several years now, and I have built touchscreen jukeboxes for myself and many of my family/friends. I patiently waited for The PC Jukebox creators to come out w/ Touch Trax, and, unfortunately, it certainly hasn't been worth the wait. I am less than impressed w/ the UI, and have started looking elsewhere for touchscreen jukebox software.
After coming across this site, I believe I've found what I'm looking for. The feature list for Version 4 looks great, and I am very impressed w/ the screenshots. Once downloading the demo, if I find it satisfactory (which I believe I will), I will immediately purchase 3 copies of the software and possible purchase 3 more within the next few months - I have no problems paying the $25 donation fee for each copy, as good jukebox software is certainly worth that price.
However, now that I'm ready to move on this, I can't seem to find the download link anywhere. I've read in a few other forums the the creator has had some issues w/ people stealing his software (or something similar), and has removed the download link. Is this correct? Is there anyway that, as worthy customer, I can have access to this demo? Perhaps I can email the creator himself to privately discuss a solution?

So, if I'm ready for the full version, do I just have to pay the PayPal, then post in the "News" area to receive an unlock code? Also, are all the skins on the skins page for a particular version, or will they work for all versions - if not, which skins are available for version 4? Thanks.
Just post that you've donated in the News/Public Downloads and Donations post, and make sure you put your Paypal ID in there, and Barcrest should upgrade your account pretty quickly. You will then see a Public Release section in the forums to download the full version of V4. Unfortunately the only skins that are up to date to run on V4 are the skins that come with Freebox. The others in the skins section have not been updated with the current functions so they will not work properly.
Yeah Barcrest is pretty good about taking care of you unless hes off on Holiday or whatever the Guys across the pond do when they are away from their PC's. ;)
