Title: Digital Graphic Artists Needed for Support of Freebox Skins....
Post by: eist1 on October 01, 2008, 04:52:29 PM
Is there anyone out there that is a graphic artist? We are looking for people that can produce some good commercial grade graphics, similar to the commercial jukeboxes that are out there. Let us know if you can help out. A good example of what type of graphics (backgrounds and buttons) we are looking for is:

eist1,
You may like to make a post over on Deviant Art. There is a special section for application interfaces. The site is maintained by graphic artists who do some mind-blowing work.

It's probably worth a try. The other guy that comes to mind is nipsmg on the BYOAC forum. He seems pretty handy with Photoshop.
Here's another pic from the same commercial application for example purposes only  ;)

Another option might be looking at some of the media center apps like XBMC and seeing if one of those skin authors might be interested in doing some graphics. Damn wish my graphic skills were better.

Cool skins! I am quite handy on Photoshop and would love to help make some quality skins/buttons etc but don't have a clue where to start! If only Freebox looked like the pics above! that would be awesome.
I really like freebox and am yet to donate but will soon.

Chaggy78,
Thanks for the offer. I am sure Eist will PM you or post here with the details on what images are required.
I am sure if you can do the images, someone else will handle the configuring of the skin.
