Title: Normalizing audio?
Post by: BigLa on November 10, 2008, 11:49:00 PM
I was thinking it would be a good idea to normalize the audio levels on my collection. But what does that mean for new music I add to the collection after I've normalized. Do I have to normalize the entire collection every time I add something new? How does that work?

Thanks.

MP3Gain - A free automatic mp3 volume normalizer. ... MP3Gain analyzes and adjusts mp3 files so that they have the same volume.

After you have normalized your entire collection you can just normalize the new music on it's own and then just add it to your collection. You don't have to normalize your whole collection everytime you add new music.
