Title: Non-MP3 Tagger
Post by: James77 on March 12, 2009, 04:05:39 PM
Barry,
Do you have a little guide or help on how to configure the non mp3 tagger.

My directory structure is Artist\Album\track

Thanks,
James

You point it to a folder of videos and then you can tag them based on the filename.

Can it pull the album name and artist name from the subfolder?  I was going to use this to tag my .wav audio files.

Thanks

Not in the current version no. Although the current version is more advanced than the older one that came with V3 it cannot pull that info. Problem is if you went and used the old V3 one that doesn't let you alter the filemask and i am not sure WAV is in that mask. I am looking to add support for pulling that info from the foldername though by altering the tagging mask similar to how tag and rename works. Right now only " - " can be used as a seperator....

I have been using V3 for .wav files. It works great except that when there is a "." in the filename it truncates the name there ( normally it is fine because if its young lust.wav it removoes the .wav from the name.  If its Dr. Feelgood.wav, it names it Dr ( I then manually change it
