Help with E-touch V5
I cant get the Pin aceess to work. I have checked the Admin and Delegate settings I want to access with the Pin ,but all I get is either a blank screen after I input the Pin or the Search screen. I then left the Admin blank and only had the Delegate pin set and same results. I then reverted back to V4.19 and tried to use the Pin settings there also with the same results. What am I doing wrong? ???
Also, is there a way to access the keypad without having to use the [ESC] key? ???

You can access the pin pad if you have the options buton displayed. You need to select what screens will be availble to you once you have entered the correct pin. I am not at home right now so i cannot exactly check this out to see if there is a bug but i doubt it.
I have tried to set the Pin access for Admin and Delegate settings, then checked the items I want displayed when I input the Pin number and same result for V4.19 and V5, History screen or the search screen. The search screen sometimes comes up with Label 31. I must have something else set wrong. I made sure the Pin was set by looking at the .ini also and it shows the Pin number. This is clean install of XP SP3 with only Freebox 4.19 and E-Touch V5, ELO Touchscreen & Griffin Powermate drivers installed beside the motherboard drivers. Thats all I want on it.
Any thoughts?

If fordman is talking about what I think he is, I occasionally get this problem also. Sometimes when I input the pin number, instead of the options screen showing up, all I get is either a blank screen, or sometimes it shows the last screen I was on, such as now playing, search, etc. It usally works ok after I reset the computer.
I will try and test it out more this week and try and pin down exactly what is happening, and what causes it. It's almost like it accepts the pin number, but forgets to draw the options screen, instead displaying the last screen accessed.

Why Yes Cary -You have my issue pegged! I havent tried a re-start but will try it. Yes, it either goes to my history page or the search page after inputting the Pin code in.

I got the PIN code to work. ;D I didnt have 'Require Pin To Shutdown' checked :tommy. After checking that, the Pin now works.
So, my guess is, you have to have everything checked before the PIN works. It will only work if everything is checked and nothing is left out. Is this a bug or was this intended to be an all or nothing option?
