Title: how deep can I root subfolders?
Post by: dedos on October 26, 2009, 03:07:47 PM
Hello all,

How many subfolders can etouch support?

I currently have c:\music\artist\filename.mp3

I want to add an additional subfolder such as:

c:\music\latin\artist\filename.mp3

I dont want to catagorize my music per genre in my file structure, but is just that this will make it easier for me to browse files when guest come over and want a CD.  Can ET see an extra subfolder?

Thanks.

You are better off creating folders like this

C:\My Music\Artist\Album Name\01- Song Name.mp3

Then make sure each song has the correct Genre configured on it and if someone wants to browse your music based on Genre, use the Filter button to filter by genre and all of the albums in that genre will show up and can be browsed.

Thanks for the reply,

I'm sorry, i made a mistake, my structure IS  c:\music\artist\CD\filename.mp3 .  Forgot that 1 subfolder.  Can I drill one more subfolder?
