Title: Tagging video files
Post by: patcariss on January 12, 2010, 10:33:12 AM
Hi all,

What can i do to tag some video clips that i have.
So far i have 2 from the same artist, with a cover and the songs work and play correctly, and the cover is correct too.
But say "No tag" in the part where the artist/album name usually appears.

I use MP3Tag to do the MP3 files,
How do i do it to Mpg and Avi files?

Thanks.

E-touch directory program called "non-mp3 tagger.exe"

Ok,

Ive been playing around for hours now with this non mp3 tagger
I set in the mask to look for .divx files, which it finds.
I then tag from filename, as i have renamed the files as i have ripped them
i then save the tags with the "save tag" button

I then open up config, and i make sure the .divx is in the mask
i do an update, it finds all my files but in the ID3v2 tag information all the fields are filled with "No Tag"

Any more ideas

Thanks

Use auto save tag in the non mp3 tagger to save each tag as it goes it should then work for you.

You know it's worked because there should be a .tag for each video.

The non-mp3 tagger does not edit any embedded tags (ID3 tags) it actually creates a second text file with the file extension .tag with tag information and that file is what is read by E-touch.
