Anybody able to instruct me on exactly how to do this?
i've set up sharing for music and e-touch install folder on master, what next?

managed to get a laptop to act as a terminal, is it possible for the terminal to access the master queue read only? also, now playing doesn't automatically kick in on terminal and the cover in the now playing bar is missing...will it ever be possible to skip tracks using a terminal?
A lot of questions, I know...but they're worth it if there are answers!

The terminal should show the queue and also the small now playing window should show the image. Both are bugs that should be fine in the next release.
Skipping tracks via the terminal is not going to be implimented as the master is supposed to run the queue so it wouldn't be a good idea to do this unless you have a reason for requesting it to work that way.

I played around with the networked setup and had freebox running on 2 machines while it was only installed on the master...the terminal read the queue on the other machine but didn't play the same songs...didn't realise i had mapped the e-touch app on the master, but at least i know i can easily have 2 masters with same database files!
The only reason i mentioned the skipping of songs on a terminal is that I plan to have my master upstairs in the spare room but have 'terminal' downstairs, so it would be handy if you could change a setting in options of terminal to allow it to skip...was gonna fit a button on the terminal cab somewhere it wouldn't be noticed and use it as a reject button...i suppose i could always have the master downstairs and terminal up, but i wanted to add new music to the juke out of sight and then copy the database files to terminal over the network...got mione on a wireless network and it works great!
The music is only played on the master though so you might be better off with 2 masters and just share the library. You don't even need 2 masters if you are not going to be playing music in the one room just have that PC sharing the files.
Can't you just build your library on e-touch from the networked MP3 drive?
I think that way would work, but only if the juke NEVER tries to to open the same track from the networked drive on both machines, right? I'm just sticking with the master/terminal setup for now anyway, just toying with ideas...

No, as the files are only opened read only it doesn't matter how many machines open it.
