Title: BPM Engine in E-touch?
Post by: leeclark2612 on March 20, 2010, 11:48:21 AM
Guys, had this thought while playing with e-touch...anybody else think it would be a good idea to be able to have random play tracks between a certain BPM range?

Don't think it's possible to calculate that using wmp as the play engine.

Yeah it's all stored within the idv2/3 tag...I use these values when out doing a disco/karaoke show...nearly all of my mp3's have the bpm calculated...I use pcdj fx and pcdj vj depending on what type of show i'm doing...

Pah! Virtual DJ all the way dude. Well that is my software of choice for DJ'ing and Karaoke. I can take a look and see how easy the BPM is to pull from a tag, something to think about however that random play screen is getting pretty full right now.

PCDJ VJ is an exact copy of Virtual DJ, just has a few more graphical quirks to it, like being able to loop a small movie as a logo or advertise using slideshows...i know what you mean about the random play page - there is a lot on there! But it would be well worth it for those on the forum that have jukes in bars...
