Post by: madnessfades on April 26, 2010, 03:53:53 PM
Can anyone help with this.
I added my tracks and it picked up about 7000 files I clicked update Library again and that figure went to about 9000 tracks then I clicked it again and got 10400 files but as it was updating I got this message.....

Error Occured: 35600
Description: Index out of Bounds
Module: Form1
Function: Update_DB

Why did you keep clicking update? Were you pointing it to a different location? Also after clicking either generate or update and it has completed you will need to exit the config and re-launch it before perfoming the next operation.

Okay, I will try that. I kept clicking update because i knew i had more songs that what it was saying i had.

What is the difference in "Generate Library" and "Update Library"?

Generate does exactly that, it generates a library. The Updates takes the existing library and adds to it. You can generate a new library everytime you add music if you want, just takes a little longer.

Also, if you know you have more tunes than what was found, are they all compatible with E-Touch? In the config, does the search mask have all the file types that you have for music; ie mp3, flac, mp4 and so on?
