Yes, you will be able to make custom CVR files and it will show in there.
so is this the grouping of filters i have seen talked about

That will be one option yes but i need to make a tool to create the CVR files and it will be that tool that will let you make the custom CVR files.
Here is what I have in place for the tool.

The copy using list function will take a list in the form of a text file and copy everything that matches that list, so you can have a list of say Rolling stone magazine top 500 albums and it will try and find those and copy them across. If anyone thinks i have missed something out please speak up now while i am still coding it.
