Title: Image Resizing
Post by: James77 on August 08, 2011, 08:21:27 PM
Hi,
I have been trying to use irfanview to batch resize my cover.jpg files.

Does anybody know how to get it to save the files in the same directory? ( I see this software has been recommended before here.  I can never seem to get it to write the files in the current directory.

Also, is this the best software to use, or is there something else that is better?  If this is the best, what settings to you use to get the best quality?

Thanks!

I use one that was posted here couple years back,..it will do all albums at once and either replace the jpeg or make copy in its same folder..can't think of the name off hand but ill be home in couple hours and post it, unless I trigger someone else's memory before then.

ok, heres what i used for mine.  http://www.rw-designer.com/picture-resize (http://www.rw-designer.com/picture-resize)  its real easy to use.

i keep my desktop icon labeld 300x300RI, after you read the instructions you'll get it.

and i still use version 2.0,,just saw they up to v5 now so i imagine its even easier. hopefully this is what your looking for. good luck
