i want to create a singles only collection that will only be
acsesed through the collections page and not to show in
the genres page is this possible and how ???
It is possible but a little long winded. You need to build a library just on your singles then copy the records.cvr to the collections folder and rename it what you want like singles.cvr... You then need to put your normal records.cvr and records.rec back or re-build your normal library again. The singles will not show up in the normal library this way or in the genres but they also will not be searchable.
An alternative method if you want them searchable is to build the library and include the singles and delete their genre from the genres folder (You would need them all to have the same unique genre like singles). Then if you only want them searchable but not visible in the main library you need to replace the records.CVR with one build without the singles in but keep the records.rec that does have the singles in as that is used for searching.
You have 2 options there to do what you want.
