Title: is it possible to use these led badges with e-touch

is it possible to use these led badges with e-touch ,ebay item no.280762617856, i bought this ayear ago and thought it would be handy if i could use it with my new project

I have not used one so i wouldn't know what protocol they use. Do they set up a virtual comport to accept the messages or do they show up as a drive?

its shows as      prolific USB-to Serial Comm Port (com3)   in device manager

Then it may already work. Have you tried the settings already in there under led settings.
