Title: Not a bug, but...
Post by: mjbok on January 22, 2012, 10:30:53 PM
With Fanart it is based on the name of the band.  How do you name AC/DC or R.E.M. or Guns 'n Roses?  Basically any band that has specialty characters (so you can't name a file that).

Thanks,

MJ

That worked!   Thanks.  Another two questions in the same vein, one of which (I'm guessing) has no solution.

Groups with a The in the title, like The Beatles.  On the album screen (to pick songs) it does not display fanart artwork.  I'm guessing this is because I have it configured with Beatles, The.  It shows up correctly on the now playing screen.  This is true with all the "The" bands I have.

.38 Special.  As a band you can't have the . in the title and "38 Special" does not work.  I'm guessing since it is a preceding period it will not work.

Thanks!

Change the tags on 38 special to remove the period and it will work. For artists like beatles, the just name the fanart that way.
