Title: Best way to purge/reinstall database
Post by: mjbok on February 10, 2012, 12:10:54 AM
Everytime I add new music (or fix tags for mp3's that were wrong) I end up with issues.  What is the best way to purge the database and create a new one.

Thanks!

You need to delete the REC and CVR files.

I deleted the REC and CVR files from the program files/etouch 7 directory.  The only problem is the other albums that are displayed on the album details now shows two copies of every album.  If I delete the REC and CVR and regen I will then have three copies of each.  Is there another file I need to delete?

Are you running xp or windows 7?

You can also clean out the artist, years and genres folder or check to clean them in the config before building.
