Title: No feature idea
Post by: mjbok on February 20, 2012, 03:51:24 AM
I have seen this on other juke software that I looked at before I decided to go with this one, but one feature I thought was nice was the ability to flag a song to be skipped in random play.  Since the software is album based a lot of times you have a lot of deeper tracks that wouldn't appeal to lots of people.

Maybe on the "Now Playing screen" a button to mark "Skip on Attract Mode".  Of course this functionality might already exist and I;ve just missed it.

That feature doesn't exist but the random play can be fine tuned enough that I don't see a need.

I'd rather have a "never play this song again" button, maybe password protected, so you can flag a bad song or bad audio file without having to quit the program and deleting it in the library and admin every time.  Have it saved in a log file so that later you can look at the log and delete or correct the indicated files.

When I was adding my music, I ripped a bunch of CDs, but on later deflection there are a lot of songs on some of those CDs that I don't care to ever hear.  Someday I'll go through the entire library (3000+ songs at the moment) and delete the ones I don't like, but this would make it easier as I go...
