Hi
Im having a problem with Etouch, when i set a queue of videos occassionaly as one song ends and just before another begins, the windows blue "waiting" ring comes up for around 30-40 seconds.
if i touch the screen a few times it fades to white and says its not responding.
If i wait the 30 odd seconds it always comes good and the music continues.
Im not sure what it is as i have been able to play it for months without a hiccup and now this has popped up all of a sudden.
Any ideas??

Since Etouch relies on media player for music and video playback, I would guess there is something not quite ideal with your video setup.
I searched for the best video/audio format, least luck with avi container.
I have converted all my videos to mp4 720x576 1500kbs - 6000kbs max aac 192kbs audio
There was the least lag between track (as good as none) in that setup, end an other advantage is that
you can have ID3 tags in an mp4, so no need to use the non mp3 tagger.
Also, mp4 videos with aac audio van be normalized.

Is there a prefered version of WMP that i should use?
Now that you mention it i did a windows update around the time that its started to play up.
I think a newer version of media player was installed.
