Hi, I'm curious how folks are approaching artwork when it comes to music video-only jukeboxes?
Right now I have my music all sorted into folders by \artist\artist-title.avi Some artists have one song, even popular artists might have a dozen videos..but I don't want to setup 'albums' per se, since these are music videos and not tracks taking as part of full CDs...
Should I be looking to put jpgs of the artists in the folders, or getting jpgs for each individual song, tagging the files themselves with the art, etc..?
I'd feel differently if I was sorting mp3s with full sets of albums, but i'm just never going to be in that situation with the music videos...I'd be happy with just a generic group photo or something...maybe get some 'single' artwork. I'm using MediaMonkey to clean up my tagging and it makes thumbnails of all the videos...not quite sure if that can be exported, but at least that would accurately get me *something* so I wasn't looking at the no-art graphic :)

I think the best way is to have a single folder per artists. Then I use a copy of the fan art image for a cover file. Works great but you of course could use any image per artists you like.

The other way to do it is to have a folder per video and use the track name for the album name, then use a grab of the video for the cover. This is how sound leisure do it on their video surfer, does work well if you use jump to play on single track option.
