Title: Finding bad files
Post by: ecbrad on November 01, 2012, 04:32:01 AM
I know Barry is working on detailed logging in a new release however I have a big party scheduled in a few weeks and I need to get my juke sorted before it.

There appears to be a file or files affecting database generation in my juke. I have a LOT of new music added and it keeps falling over and then not generating a new database. Given this process currently takes 45-60mins on my library each time and I have 100,000 files in it, finding the offending file is impossible without detailed error logging.

Rather than rely of a potential release in time for me does anyone have any tips on trying to find which files could be bad?

Failing that I'll need to switch to another program until this is resolved  :'(

Cheers,
Brad
