after I tag the song or the video which one do you put in.The one that says tagged or the one that says video clip

If you are using the non mp3 tagger you only need to use that for videos, you need to keep the .tag file with the video.

ok,thank you.Thats what Im using.So I dont use it for songs just videos

Yes, for songs you need something like Tag & Rename to edit the embedded tags.

It's 3rd party software by softpointer, do a google search. There is a free 30 day trial.

I correct tags and make sure they are correct but then sometime later some show up without genre, why?  I also found that if you tag something with a app and then scan it with another app the tags are wrong.  Is there a app that can do a deep check for tags?

I have never had a problem with tag & rename, make sure you don't have media player set to amend your tags.
