Title: Looking to clear a few things... How?
Post by: dgrams on March 30, 2014, 05:15:16 PM
Looking to wipe various things to start fresh... Wondering what files I kill to do this?

1)  Main Audio Database
2)  Main Video Database
3)  Hot Hits
4)  History

Thanks.   ;)

Saw a post from fordman in a different thread... found this - The only thing I can't figure out yet is how to get rid of the HOT HITS list.  Still looking for that file.

------------------------
in your C:Program Files\E-Touch Jukebox folder you will see 3 files:

karaoke.cvr
records.cvr
videos.cvr

Delete those files, then re-run the config.
--------------------

and I found that user_history.dat gets rid of the larger history file.

What are you trying to do?
A fresh install or something else?

Just trying to clear all the recently played things that I had while setting things up... wanting to start fresh.

And sometimes when I try to add songs, I corrupt the database for some reason.
But if I scan the music folder from scratch, on a fresh install, it works fine.
