I left this in the skin forum but figured I would try here too. I have a 1080P touch screen. Are there any 1080P skins 1920X1080?
Also, I am still trying the demo trying to decide on which one to buy. I have a few Karaoke files (mp3 plus the CDG files) Etouch finds them but when I try to play them it does nothing. Any suggestions on what I may look at to start troubleshooting?

the newest skins are 1024x768 but they look great on bigger monitors to my opinion.
And about the karaoke, have you installed the karaoke for directx codec? its inside the etouch program files, and if you did, have you played the karaoke on mediaplayer yet? if not, try playing one karaoke file by choosing the bin file not the mp3 part, open it with media player ,a pop up optio would appear stating something i dont remember, just make sure to put a check mark on it and the ok, after that karaokes would play just fine.

Yes, it is installed. Still no luck. When I queue up karaoke songs they just cycle through the list quickly one by one but do not play. When I open the CDG file with the media play option directly I get an file priveledge error hit. I have reset the permissions to the karaoke folder to allow everyone full access. One other thing I am having trouble with is the second monitor. When I check the options for the second monitor a screen pops up in the primary monitor regardless of which one I assign. My second monitor is #2.
I am certainly not trying to be bug you guys to death with issues but do want to pick the right software. Right now I like the 1080P kins of touch jams but their lack of any support forums is killer for me. Not sure how you sell and support software without user supported forums like this one. With E-touch the lack of 1080P skins and not being able to get my second monitor working along with karaoke are sticking points. The forums here are a plus though so I am trying to get those issues resolved before I purchase.
Thanks again for all the suggestions and help as I work through these...

having a HD monitor for karaoke its pointles, most karaokes are low definition, and seting up etouch with 2 monitor should be easy, but some fols find trouble because of the monitor layout.
I think the skins in etouch look awsome, and dont see the need for HD skins, but thats just me.
If you are using windows 7 you can try this fix :
Ok, after a bunch of trial and error with Windows 7 and Windows Media Player 12 I have finally got everything to work (the same as WMP 11 on XP) I downgraded WMP 12 to WMP 11 with the following downgrade script Windows7WMPDowngrader_1.1.exe http://www.iamkizer.net/freeboxjukebox/files/skins/V4skins/Downloads/Windows7WMPDowngrader_1.1.exe (http://www.iamkizer.net/freeboxjukebox/files/skins/V4skins/Downloads/Windows7WMPDowngrader_1.1.exe) Also I downloaded a newer version of Karaoke for DirectX which now allows videos for the karaoke screen background karaoke-3.0-beta3 http://www.iamkizer.net/freeboxjukebox/files/skins/V4skins/Downloads/karaoke-3.0-beta3.zip (http://www.iamkizer.net/freeboxjukebox/files/skins/V4skins/Downloads/karaoke-3.0-beta3.zip) (Barry may want to include this updated karaoke zip in future versions of E-Touch.)
Here are the steps I took to downgrade from WMP 12 to WMP 11 on Windows 7:
1. Uninstall Karaoke for Direct X if you already have it installed (also go into Program Files and delete the folder if it is still there)
2. Do a regedit and seach the registry for .cdg and delete any entries it finds for .cdg
3. Run the Windows7WMPDowngrader_1.1.exe and let it do its install. After it's done reboot.
4. After rebooting install karaoke-3.0-beta3 and reboot again
5. After rebooting go into your Karaoke song folder and right click a .cdg file and choose Open With and then choose Windows Media Player and make sure the "Always use the selected program to open this type of file" box is checked
6. The .cdg should now open in WMP 11 and start playing (at least it did for me after doing this a few times)
