Title: Best stable version for XP Pro
Post by: jonfinpausa on August 14, 2014, 10:38:01 AM
So I have been out of the loop for a long time and was wondering if any could shed some light on using old hardware and OS. Just needing the jukebox box to play music without allot of whistles n bells and was curious which version wold be fastest and require the least amount of resources.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would give the beta go, it is probably the fast version and it has the best skin.

Also you might want to upgrade you PC to windows 7 if you want to use the internet features of the beta as windows XP isn't supported by microsoft anymore.

Thanks B, I will do so with my Jukebox but this one is for a customer and I don't even install the network drivers in a customers jukebox due to virus and shareware issues, in fact I even turn off the video and karaoke features as I don't have time or staff to support all the features in the software, in fact if you have a stripped out version of the software that just plays mp3 music and requires less resources to help it run faster I would like a copy of that.

Kinda like Freebox was in the early version but fast like version 8  ;D
