Title: Button highlight - change font size when pressed
Post by: fb28 on August 18, 2025, 07:58:25 PM
Is there a way to make a button change appearance when "hot" (pressed)? Say
change font size? If the button is in reality an image (png, etc) can it
reload or be replaced with another image that does show it's hot - but
only when pressed? I wish I could send/attach a sample, but I'm getting
an error message each time I try to attach a file: "The upload directory
is full. Please contact an administrator...".

What screen are you trying to do this on? The main menu? There is support for changing the background image based on what button is pressed.

Where would that support be? Is it a value or entry in the
skin ini file? I guess one image would be "normal" (unpressed)
another image would be "hot" (pressed)? Tkx for the response...

There isn't support to swap the button images out but it can load a new background in the menu depending on what button is pressed. This allows you to add a highlight using the background.

Thanks. Is there a written procedure somewhere to do this?

BTW, I have 3 more questions in the Support and Bug Reports sub-board
going back to Sept 1. I suppose Barcrest would be the only one who
could answer these (please...).
