Title: Freeplay Mode
Post by: fb28 on September 01, 2025, 12:56:11 AM
Is there a way to map a key to change from credit to freeplay (and back)?
Seems that if you want any simple form of remote control, you need to
map your desired action to a keyboard key, and use an i-pac or equivalent,
but it appears that your desired action must be on the key shortcut box.

Tkx...

You can schedule a time for it to go into free pay, the keyboard shortcuts are used to you don't need to go to the jukebox itself and you can do it remotely with a connected keyboard or custom buttons through an iPac which you are probably using if you have credits enabled.

Don't have an iPAC yet, trying to simulate using keyboard...
I don't see any settings for free play? There are some check
boxes for happy hour day/time. Is "happy hour" really free play?
I would assume that happy hour would invoke a different price per
credit or add bonus credits. Don't see that either.

I guess what I meant going in/out of free play mode using
a remote control (which would be mapped to a keyboard key)
can only be applied if there is a "free play" or equiv
button on the "button settings" tap to map it to. That's
what I meant as "key shortcut box".

I was looking for something like a "free play on demand"
where a bartender, etc. can put the box on free play
at will (would probably need optional passcode protection
too).

Thanks for the response...

A Keyshortcut has been added for this in the latest beta.
