Im looking at doing a project involving a really small screen. Im guessing the screen is going to be aprox 7-inches and I was wondering if there is any software out there that can simulate a 7-inch screen unless somebody is going to say I need to just reduce the height and width of my monitor and measure 7-inches, which my next question would be is that from corner to corner or is that at a downward angle from top left to bottom right? ;D
Now with a small screen Im going to have to figure out how to run Freebox on it because well what else is there. :-*
On the old forum there was a guy running freebox on a 7" screen he got off ebay, he said it was usable. His juke was pretty cool actually but i can't remeber his name. He used the default skin anyway i can remeber that much. So who you building this one for as you already have that large touchscreen ;)
Moving to the Jeep. ;)
I don't know how many car audio systems there are there running Freebox, but I want to be one of them. I'm building a computer based GPS system and well I have to have my tunes you know. I can't honestly say its going to be the primary reason for building it, but I'd like to run Freebox on it for the long runs when I want music and heck having it at your finger tips is a plus.
Here in the states we have what is called as federal income tax. So basically I was lucky enough to pry some money out of my wifes hands to apply towards something Ive been saving for forever.
The 7" lilliput touchscreen most often used in cars has a resolution of 800x480. There are no skins that size, but I'm guessing you could easily modify one using the skinner.
