Title: Cabinets
Post by: leeclark2612 on July 02, 2009, 06:57:55 AM
Anyone thought of doing their own take on the classic Sound Leisure cabinets? The Sound Surfer Video or 21st Century wallboxes might look good...

By a sound leisure juke on ebay and rip the CD guts out.

So many operators have sound leisure jukes/wall boxes that have faulty lasers on the players.

I was offered a sound leisure 'Limelight' machine the other day for £200 fully working.  Use the amplifier, and rip out the mechanism and sell it for £100 on ebay, along with the MPU board.  All you will need to do is put a rectifier between the jukeboxes transformer and the amplifier with a smoothing cap or two.  Dead easy.
