My first project was a 12" CRT touch screen monitor, with a Dell Kiosk, Pentium 2 350 mhz, 768 RAM 120 gig HD. it was a test project. Needless to say it kicked ass and was loved by all.
The new project is an IBM POS 15" LCD touchscreen Powerwed USB, with a HP RP500 POS system, 2 gig P4, 256meg DDR RAM (which i'm upgrading with a 1 gig stick) 4 Powered USB ports, Intel Extreme Graphics Card with 128 RAM, 40 gig HD (plus i'm adding the 120 from the old system. I'm going to be installing this into the side of my entertainment center, which is a free standing wall with 61" Samsoung DLP 1080P TV, 7.1 Surrond sound, PS3, XBox 360, Wii, PS2, Xbox, and N64. I could only see one photo, does it link into the big screen T.V. Also are you still running the public version?
I could have it on the tv, but there is no real reason to because im not putting videos on it. it is going through the 7.1 surround system. I'm looking at getting a new audio card that has optical out. yes i'm still running the public version. I did donate today but havent put in the newer version
Yes i upgraded you.. Videos are the main thing i run. I have a small tablet PC that is like what you have running but i really want to get a wall mounted unit. I have been quoted £1,500 for that which is a bit pricey for home use. It is a commercial cab though so maybe once i get some funds...
