Title: Skintool ?????'s
Post by: fordman on November 13, 2009, 06:03:28 PM
One thought for the skintool,

Why cant the Album View background just be a 'static' back ground with out having a different box for the player, buttons, the 'NULL.jpg'. I am a novice at photoshop and I'm finding it very hard to get the background pics to match up correctly.

All the other screens have a static background where you dont have to match up the background?

Any reason the Album View is different or am I just missing something?

Hey Fordman,

I believe you can "detatch" the buttons from the album screen and they will then be on the main screen which
is exactly what you are looking for:

At the bottom of the File Controls/Settings window change the navigation style and you are good to go.

Hi Fordman

In terms of the background, version 5 is much easier than the older versions of E-Touch. In the older versions everything worked like the current main screen.
Tip: What I do is resize the image I like to use as the background to the skin size I'm doing (Example 1024x768), save it as main.jpg, then crop that image to the bottom right corner (870x680) and save that as null.jpg. Then if needed you can move it a bit in the skintool until it matches perfectly. Once you have this sorted you can use the same INI files on the folowing skin you do and it will always match up.
I hope this will help you out.
