Title: System Requirements
Post by: shawnp0wers on December 23, 2010, 01:03:55 PM
It's probably right in front of my eyes, but I can't seem to find it.  What are the system requirements for running the current version of E-Touch?  I have an old Point of Sale machine, 600mhz, 800x600, running Windows 98.  Since it has a built in touchscreen I'd love to be able to make a jukebox out of it. (audio only)  I'm just curious if it powerful enough.

Also, I don't have a problem paying $25 -- but will running the demo version show me the same performance as the "real" version?

Thanks!

Windows 98 that's the sticker. It doesn't seem to run on windows 98 anymore, you could install windows 2000 or XP on that machine and it should run fine. The demo will show exactly the same performance as the full version. I had it running on PIII 700mhz with 128mb ram and it worked fine but you will need to upgrade the O/S like i said as people have reported that it doesn't work on win 98.
